Hello, I'm Aidan Hall

Duke CS • Math • DI ’27

I build AI- and automation-first systems — from Azure/D365 flows that save teams thousands of hours, to AI agent platforms like SpeakSeeker that onboard users for you. I like when math, infra, and product all meet. 📡

About Me

I'm a Duke CS + Math + Digital Intelligence student who likes taking manual, brittle business processes and turning them into resilient automations. At Dexter, I turned a 1-minute planner upload into a 5-second email-forward flow used daily by 11 planners (~2,860 hrs and $160K–$190K saved annually).

On the AI side, I co-founded SpeakSeeker (speakseeker.com), a SaaS that uses AI-powered search, scraping, and intelligent matching to connect speakers with events — plus agents to auto-create accounts for people.

I also TA Discrete Math, Probability, and Multivariable Calculus at Duke and was recognized with the CS Department Outstanding TA Award. Teaching keeps me sharp on proofs, graph theory, and combinatorics while I build.

Experience

Co-Founder (Part-Time)

SpeakSeeker (speakseeker.com) Aug 2025 – Present
  • Building AI-powered speaker–event SaaS: search, scraping, intelligent matching, messaging, contract tools.
  • Shipping agents that auto-source users, generate accounts, and preload profiles to reduce onboarding friction.
  • Full-stack on Vercel/Supabase-style stack to support fast iteration with real users.

IT Development Intern (Full-Time)

Dexter Axle Company May 2025 – Aug 2025
  • Designed PO-attachment automation via Azure Functions + D365 APIs; 1-min manual upload → 5-sec email-forward, used by 11 planners (~2,860 hrs, $160K–$190K saved annually).
  • Ported legacy C#/SQL parcel pipelines to Logic Apps + modular SQL Server views; fan-out/merge + parallelism → 80% latency reduction and no duplicates.
  • Added scoped error-handling + alerting to reduce triage and make handoffs easy.

UTA – COMPSCI 230/231, MATH 222, MATH 230

Duke University Jan 2025 – Present
  • Lead recitations + office hours for Discrete Math and Probability (150+ students/semester).
  • Recipient of CS Department Outstanding TA Award.
  • Help design problem-solving sessions & grade advanced proofs.

AI Agent Intern

Teleperson Jan 2025 – May 2025
  • Engineered multi-agent systems with shared memory + custom comms protocols for Swarm-style apps.
  • Focused on autonomous coordination + strategic decision-making in AI agent networks.

AI Engineer

DataAnnotation Oct 2024 – May 2025
  • Built prompt evaluation systems for LLMs to surface edge-case math + algorithm failures across 30+ models.
  • Improved model reasoning quality for Zebra AI and similar models.

Instructor

Mathnasium Jul 2022 – Jul 2023
  • Taught algebra → early calc to 2–10th graders; mixed group + 1:1 support.

Lead Software & Game Engineer

Elmhurst District 205 Jan 2021 – May 2022
  • Directed two game-based fundraisers raising $20K+ for local schools.

Research

ALIGN – Grid Decarbonization & Flexible Load

Machine Learning Research Assistant in Duke’s Dalia Patiño-Echeverri Lab (Nicholas School), part of a $2.9M collaboration with Google and the Georgetown Climate Center to study how AI/data-center load growth stresses the U.S. grid and how flexible demand can help.

I build Python/Julia data pipelines, forecasting models, and simulation tools over large weather + energy datasets so stakeholders can test decarb strategies.
